Mr. Pranob Mukherjee is a BE (Electrical) from Government College of Engg. & Technology, Raipur. He has thirty four years of experience in Electrical design, project execution and management with ABB India. He has headed HT distribution Substation installation package at BSP and 230 kV, 216 MW, 4 bay switch yard for ADANI SOLAR at KAMUTHI, TAMIL NADU. In Simplex he has served as electrical head for Sinter Plant No.3 project at Bhilai Steel Plant. He was also a key member of the team which bagged Hot Metal Handling System of IISCO, Burnpur, EOT Ladle Cranes for SMS-II Vizag Steel Plant and Pulverised Coal Injection for BF-1 & BF-2 of Vizag Steel Plant. He has travelled to Germany, China, USA, and Japan on various professional assignments. Presently he heads the maintenance team and works with the design department of Simplex Engineering as General Manager (Design & Maintenance) where manufacturing of equipment for various sectors takes place.

He has to his credit several products which are his own design like 264 ton capacity Hot Metal Ladle for Nippon Steel, several transfer cars, a wide range of Grab Buckets including Radio Remote Controlled Grabs, Underground Coal Mining Machine like Side Discharge Loader, Load Haul Dumper and Universal Drill Machine.

He specializes in the Sales & Marketing of Simplex Products like Grab Buckets, Road making machines like Single Drum Compactor, Double Drum Compactor, Motor Grader, excavator, road roller, back hoe loader, front end loader, pick & carry crane and 7 models of API 11E Sucker Rod Pumping Unit in the domestic as well as export market, Boiler Support Structures, including ceiling Girders, Columns, AW Beams, and General Fabrication structures.
